In February, we launched The BlackOut Hub, a free mobile app offering a discreet/discrete space for Black Queer men in the UK to meet and build their connections to each other, a non-commercial space that supports a sense of community.
We now have the opportunity to use the app to support each other – to take time during this lockdown and beyond to create the kind of connections that might endure.
Black Out is forming a group of Black Out Hub members to help us to build the online community, trial new ideas, so that we all get the most out of the app.
The interventions will match our values/mission, and our collective emphasis on self-reliance and inclusive community-building.
